HTC One vs iPhone 5 | Clash of the Smartphones

There will always be a clash when two extremely beautiful Smartphones are in the market. HTC One which is not yet launched has already created news and is on everybody’s mind. On the other hand iPhone 5 was launched in 2012, and has already reached the top in the Smartphone market. So let’s see which one is better and which one will rule the Smartphone market.

HTC One has 4.7 inches Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 469 ppi pixel density, on the other hand iPhone 5 has 4 inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 640 x 1136 pixels resolution and 326 ppi pixel density. So both phones have LCD type screen but with different pixel density and resolution. HTC One takes an edge over iPhone 5 if we see the pixel ratio.  When we compare the screen size of HTC One with iPhone 5,  it is larger by 9.6 mm. So, your decision can be based upon screen size of your preference .

Storage 

Taking about the Storage HTC One comes in two variant 32/64 GB whereas iPhone 5 comes in three variant 16/32/64 GB, providing the user better flexibility while choosing. HTC One has 2GB RAM which is better than 1GB of iPhone 5. One thing which is common to both is that there memory can’t be expanded, so users have to think twice before purchasing it. So it depends on how much memory you need, if you need less memory than iPhone 5 will suit you otherwise both the phones will serve your purpose.

Camera

HTC One has UltraPixel 4 MP primary camera whereas iPhone 5 has 8 MP camera, exactly the double of it. Both the cameras have common features like autofocus, LED flash, simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, face detection. Talking about the secondary camera iPhone 5 has 1.2 MP while HTC One has 2.1 MP camera. So we can say that iPhone 5 will provide its user with better photography experience.
